A new shop in West pennant Hills.
MaiF kitchens and Shopfitting were asked to supply the joinery for this new shop.
We made the shop counter from Cashmere Caesarstone with CLEAF Palissandro Makassar textured timber
This job is for a lounge room that the customer wanted to have a fire place at the end of the room.
They wanted to keep the brick walls as a feature and also incorporate a flat screen above the fire place.
The room had a lovely western red cedar ceiling.
The feature was to be a mantle made from a New Age Veneer timber called sassafras and was finished in high gloss polyurethane.
The hearth was a satin white and the faux fireplace flue was to rise up from the hearth making a striking feature. The cabinets either side were myrtle and they were to blend in with the wall and match a feature coffee table also in Tasmanian myrtle. The fire place cabinets had drawers for CD’s , Xbox’s and games.
The fire was a mentholated spirits or ethanol style fire from Black and stone VioFlame. The drawers and doors were handle less and on the white drawers we put shark nose style handles.
The mantle height was restricted by the widow on the left-hand side. Low voltage under cabinet lighting was also put in to make a nice atmosphere of an evening
Lift facardes always need to be kept tidy and presentable for the tennants and their customers.
This upgrade was as basic as you could go without just painting.
These walls were lined with white melamine panelling replacing the old grey wallpaper.
The end result was a big improvement and looked quite tidy and smart
This desk was architect designed and uses Abet Laminati Metallic laminate. The laminate has vertical grooves and has a degree of iridescence. The front is 900mm high and the desk behind is normal desk height of about 720mm, the top is 200mm wide by 3000mm long and is quantum quartz starlight black.
The front has a 100mm angle and fits up to a round column

Installation is assembling 4 or 5 pieces and is easily done with a battery screwdriver.

If you are using a transport company. We have found that furniture removalist are better than general carriers as they are more attuned to joinery needs and have their own padding and packing materials.

The reception counter is all about presence and the image it projects to your customers.
(As well as a work station for the smiling face that greets your customers)
If a new customer walks into an establishment with an old desk or a tired recycled counter it looks like a temporary business and already you have to gain their confidence that you are not going to fall over or be gone in the next day. And alternatively old established businesses can create new interest and generate a renewed energy with an upgrade.

Blue colour backed glass reception counter with a light to give it a bit of a lift. Clear anodised aluminiun strips seperate the panels of toughened glass. White gloss counter would suit either retail sales or reception counter. It is 3metres long and has lots of space for product display, computer screens, keyboards and cash registers
Manzoni’s marketing department was improving their product presentation at their trade fairs.
Rather than placing the products onto the benches they wanted to give some depth and texture to the displays
MaiF kitchens and Shopfitting was contracted to assemble 8 sets of product display stands in various colours and textures.
